Home in Scottsdale, Ariz., Named Home of the Year in National Design Competition

“The Crusader,” a single-family home in Scottsdale, Ariz., was named Home of the Year in the 2020 Best in American Living™ Awards (BALA) by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

A very modern home by Drewett Works / Architecture (see video). CP Drewett designed the roof structure, which is reminiscent of a fighter plane in homage to his father who was a pilot.

The stone home with huge expanses of glass enjoys spectacular panorama in all directions. These vistas include stunning expansive city views, as well as views of the 8th and 9th fairways and Pinnacle Peak.
